Established in 1997, Thuraya is the UAE’s first satellite operator. Thuraya is fully owned by Mubadala Investment Company, the investment vehicle of the Government of Abu Dhabi.
Thuraya’s satellite network covers two-thirds of the globe, including Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Thuraya’s new satellite 4-NGS is set to replace its existing Thuraya 2 satellite.
